National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday moved Delhi High Court seeking death penalty for Kashmiri separatist and chief of the banned Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Yasin Malik in terror funding case. Trial Court sentenced Malik to life imprisonment last year.
Malik is lodged in Tihar Jail after he was sentenced by a special National Investigation Agency (NIA) court in May. He was arrested in early 2019 in connection with the 2017 terror financing case registered by the NIA.
