IND vs AUS: The fourth and final Test of four-match India vs Australia Border-Gavaskar Test series ended in a draw after early stumps were called in final session of Day 5 at world’s largest cricket stadium in Ahmedabad. Marnus Labuschagne(63*) and Steve Smith (10*) remain unbeaten with Australia scoring 175/2 in their second innings at Stumps. With this, India won the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2-1 and also qualified for 2023 World Test Championship (WTC) Final.
2023 WTC Final will be played between India and Australia from June 7 this year, at England’s The Oval.
Coming to Day of Ind vs Aus Ahmedabad Test, India bowled 78.1 overs against Australia but could pick just two wickets by the final session. The visitors ended the final day at 175/2 before captains of both teams agreed to call early stumps. Notably, for the first time in 10 years, India have gone winless in two Tests in a row at home.
