Prashant Gunjalkar, Salman Khan’s manager and close friend, got a threatening e-mail for the actor on Saturday from Goldy Brar’s assistant Mohit Garg. Mohit included Lawrence Bishnoi’s latest interview from Tihar prison in the email. He added that Goldy would like to meet the actor in person. Bandra police have filed a FIR against Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldy Brar, and one Mohit Garg.
Earlier in an interview, Lawernce Bishnoi had stated that the actor’s ego will be crushed.
On Saturday afternoon, the threat was received to an e-mail account used by the actors’ office. According to the FIR filed by Bandra police, the sender’s ID was Mohit Garg.
“Goldy wishes to speak with your boss, Salman. You may have watched the interview, and he might have missed it; advise him to watch it. If you want to put an end to it, tell him to talk to Goldy face to face. Tell him ahead of time or be ready to face the consequences,” reads the mail.
Prashant sought the assistance of the police after getting the mail and filed a case in Bandra. An FIR was filed against Bishnoi, Brar, and Garg based on the complaint. The FIR was filed on criminal intimidation and common purpose accusations.
This is not the first time the actor has been targeted by the Bishnoi gang. A menacing note was placed at Bandra Bandstand in June last year, where the actor’s father Salim Khan often go for walks. According to the threat letter, the actor will suffer the same fate as singer Siddhu Moosewala. In such scenario, a FIR had also been filed. Last year, the Bishnoi gang was engaged in the murder of Moosewala.
The Bishnoi community regards blackbuck as a holy animal and has been angry with the actor since he was related to a scandal for reportedly murdering a blackbuck while filming a movie in 1998.
